Work Order Picking List Overview

The MetaVault Picking List is a report that is available by Work Order, Media Order or Transmission Order. It lists the assets assigned to an Order  (i.e. the Media Assets tab on the standard Work Order layout)  and allows subsorts by Asset Disposition and Location, as well as other attributes.

This report can be found:

  •  in the Media Assets action menu in the Work Order layouts,
  •  in the Sources action menu in the Media Order layouts, and
  •  in the Sources action menu in the Transmission Order layouts, and
  •  in the Reports menu in the Navigator under MetaVault Library.

All versions of the report function the same, listing the Media Assets that can be seen on the Media Assets tab of the Work Order layouts. This report does NOT include sources that are not linked to Media Assets. Assets can be physical or file assets but all asset data on the report comes from the asset table, not the sources. This is not a report intended to show the relationship of sources to services.

The following tables have been made available to the report:

  •  Work Order
  •  Media Asset
  •  Titles: for a version of the report that would show multiple titles on an asset instead of just the primary.

The Picking List report may be run for a single order or for a number of orders by Job, W/O Type or date range.
