Episode Seq

Episode Description

Episode Description 2

Length

Enter the running time (duration) for the item in this field.

TIME DURATION ENTRY

When entering duration times into this field, the entry format of times is ##:##:##, representing HH:MM:SS (hours, minutes, seconds). You must enter two digits, then a colon, then two more digits and a colon, and a final two digits.

  • If you enter two digits, a colon, and a final two digits, the system will display them as minutes and seconds; for example, 45:02 would display as 00:45:02.
  • If you only enter one digit before or after a colon, the system will always insert a zero (0) before the typed digit, assuming that you are entering a number less than 10. For example, entering 2:2 would prompt the system to display as 00:02:02.

You may also use the standard Xytech timespan conventions for time duration to define your time entry without typing colons or the full number of digits:

S = Second • M = Minute • H = Hour

For example, thirty seconds can be entered as 30S, sixty minutes can be entered as 60M or 1H, and three hours can be entered as 180M or 3H.

Typing one of the timespan convention codes after one or two digits in a string will tell the system whether you are entering hours, minutes, or seconds: H (for hours), M (for minutes), and S (for seconds). So, typing in 5H15M9S would display as 05:15:09 and typing in 8M45S3H would display as 03:08:45.

Footage
